Who we are

Our family was introduced to this world in 2020 when our boy was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), we didn’t know anything about this beautiful neurodiverse world. We tried to navigate to what seemed like a puzzle to try to get the right help for him. We noticed there wasn’t a lot of information or tools for families going through the same journey. There aren’t any funds for children diagnosed with CAS either. Children with CAS need early speech therapy intervention in order to succeed.

Being a family in the Golf world, we decided to raise awareness and funds by organizing GOLF FORE APRAXIA.

In 2021, our son TJ was also diagnosed with Autism and Global Developmental delay. During our search for the right intervention we came across IBI BEHAVIOURAL SERVICES INC (Amanda). Through the past year we have seen tremendous development from the types of therapies he receives.

Seeing the development in our child encourages us to continue raising awareness and funds to help families in our community who can’t afford these therapies.

Amanda Baysarowich
Owner/Director/Founder of IBI Behavioural Services Inc.

Amanda's passion and commitment to children started in 2008 when she began working as a therapist providing one to one therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Simcoe County.

Amanda continued to expand her practice by providing services to children spanning is far south as Whitby and Ajax, and as far north as Brechin and Orillia, the need was so significant that she continued to build a team that was just as committed to servicing children in need as she was.

Over the years Amanda dedicated her life to building a space that was inclusive, diverse, and served those in need, all under One Roof.

In 2016 she opened up her first brick and mortar clinic location, and began to serve children of all developmental backgrounds with an interdisciplinary clinical approach. From there Amanda opened up four more locations and expanded into the ministry of education and was able to open a licensed private school to be able to serve children with special needs, which allowed them to be able to learn in a catered environment that was designed to meet their needs from a developmental standpoint rather than a chronological age standpoint. Amanda continues to drive her passion each and every day and strives to help those in need where and whenever she can.

Having the opportunity to work together for the Golf Fore Apraxia Charity Tournament is an absolute honour and we couldn't be more excited about this partnership!

When Amanda is not advocating for the autism community, she is enjoying traveling and spending time with her husband and three small children.

Amanda firmly believes, the minute you lead with your heart the rest will follow, and that will always be her life motto.
